NHBRC Registration

NHBRC registration is a mandatory and statutory requirement before the construction phase can commence. The NHBRC provides a 5-year warranty against major and defined structural defects for the consumer (new homes only). Brikworx Construction CC will submit all the completed forms and apply for the NHBRC enrolment certificate.

The following documents are required:

• Form EF003 – supplied by Brikworx Construction CC and completed by the appointed structural Engineer and Brikworx Construction CC.
• Form PA003 – supplied by Brikworx Construction CC and completed by the client and Brikworx Construction CC.
• Form B1 - supplied by Brikworx Construction CC and completed by the appointed structural Engineer and Brikworx Construction CC.
• Confirmation of selling price – Quotation by Brikworx Construction CC, offer to purchase (land) or deed of sale/transfer or valuation by registered valuator.
• Building contract between client and Brikworx Construction CC. As members of the GMBA (Gauteng Masters Builders Association) we use the standard GMBA building contract.
• Confirmation/Copy of approved plans – site plan/floor plan.
